Sophia treats the body, mind and spirit holistically and from an integrated perspective. Understanding and healing  unresolved childhood wounding or Trauma that can unconsciously drive adult behavior and define beliefs-keeps us stuck in a story of limitation and lack as well as repetitive patterns of thinking and behaving that prevent forward momentum and block access to our authentic truth, forcing us to move through the world from our constructed or false self, unconsciously believing that it is unsafe and shameful to be authentically who and what we truly are.

Sophia holds the overarch of Trauma/Story/Belief; It is the framework and foundation of her work and it is where healing, unwinding and resolution occur.

Trauma-what event just happened, why did it happen and what does it mean to me about myself?

Story-there must be something wrong with me that this happened-maybe I need to be somehow different from who and what I am and then it would not have occurred

Belief-I am not lovable/likeable as I am, (because this Traumatic event just happened) I therefor need to act like someone else and pretend that I am not actually and authentically me. I must defend against anyone who could breach my defenses because otherwise I might die, (of shame).

The Trauma/Story/Belief schema is important because it's result always creates wounds around what we believe about our value, our worth and our lovability, therefor it must be healed for us to be whole.

Part of Sophia's magic as a therapist and healer is to unwind each client from their wound matrix, making the unconscious conscious, healing and integrating the previously disowned or "shadow" aspects of the self that are often stand alone, unintegrated fragments that hold early Trauma. Sophia works somatically to recalibrate the autonomic, sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system to creates new neural pathways or patterns that result in a permanent change of feelings, thoughts, beliefs, behaviors and patterns of response.
